In 2012, I bought my first "real" camera, went on a trip to Hawaii, took pictures of my family and fell in love with bossing people around. At first I thought I could do it all: families, newborns, kids, seniors, weddings, etc. But while I love photographing my two daughters, my photography heart is with newly engaged couples and being part of their story from the moment the question is "popped" until the day they say "I do".
I firmly believe that Disneyland is "the Happiest Place on Earth". Since my husband and I have been married (in 2004), we've averaged a trip about every 18 months.
I love the beach, but unfortunately I'm land-locked here in the Salt Lake Valley of the great state of Utah. So I try to get to a beach as often as I can. And it isn't as often as I would like. Favorite beaches include Hawaii (both the Big Island and Maui, so far), Costa Rica (the Pacific side), Mexico (I grew up going to Cabo before it was cool. And before it had a Costco) and the Oregon Coast. As much as I like beaches and as often as I go to Disneyland, I don't really love California beaches. Does that make me weird?
I made it to Paris for the first time in November 2018 and it has changed my life. I never knew I could love a city (and the baguettes) as much as I have fallen in love with Paris.
Dry shampoo, Oreos, Harry Potter and Mexican Coke.
If I'm not photographing or editing or blogging, you'll find me curled up on the couch either watching Netflix or Disney movies with my two little girls.
