Daybreak Lake Engagement Session | Amanda & Brandon

We all know that I love engagement sessions (I include one for free with any wedding package, because I love getting to know my clients BEFORE their big day. It gives me the time to learn how comfortable they are with all of the PDA that happens in front of the camera.), but when you add your fur baby to it, it just about sends me over the top!

We met at Daybreak Lake in South Jordan, and I got to meet Ellie.  I loved her and all of her high-energy spunk right away! She didn’t want to cooperate with all of our poses, but that’s OK!  I’m going to be honest – I haven’t been too successful with the last couple of times photographing dogs. But I just look at it as capturing “real life” as it happens and those types of pictures always end up being some of my favorites.

We stopped in at Swirly Girls Bakery to grab a cupcake for a special picture. 🙂 Oh Amanda, get out of here!!

I can’t wait for their wedding in October!!
