Salt Lake Temple First Look | Keauna + Taylor | Utah Wedding Photographer

Keauna and Taylor are getting married soon (August 8th, 2018 as a matter of fact). So now I’m going to tell you their story. Actually Keauna is going to tell you their story. And then I’m going to share the pretty pictures with you. Prepare yourself.

How They Met

“Taylor and I met at the beginning of this year (2017-18) at school- we had a business class together. I don’t even know why I took a business class?! But I did…and I met Taylor! When I first started talking to Taylor he would always tell me that he wasn’t ready to date (we had both just recently returned from serving LDS missions) and that he didn’t want to get married until he was at least 23. He obviously had a change of heart. He proposed May 4th, 2018.”

How He Asked

“He told me he had to get a root canal because he had had a tooth that was bothering him for a long time. While he was at the “dentist” I was with my sister who was in on the whole thing. She told me she wanted to have a picnic so we grabbed some food and went up Rock Canyon in Provo. Taylor can be such a romantic sometimes. He printed out all of my favorite pictures of us together and hung them up in the trees. He had the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and a letter board that said “roses are red, violets are blue, I cannot imagine my life without you. Will you marry me?” It was the perfect day and I was TOTALLY surprised.”

Them Together

“Something that I love the most about the two of us together is that we both give each other our all. We’re in this together! I love spending every day with Taylor – he’s my favorite person ever. Some things that we like to do together are… hike (we hike A. TON.) which is soooo fun. We love to sit around the fire. Go on bike rides – basically anything outside is our favorite. We are avid Netflix watchers and Redbox is our BFF on the weekends. We love to go through the drive through at Chick-Fil-A and Fiiz. We’re also famous for date nights to the grocery store to get Haagen Dazs raspberry sorbet.”
