I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at the Alta Lodge in Alta, Utah. I was a last minute addition to the big day, and I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of Michelle & Peter’s celebration. It wasn’t a traditional wedding ceremony, since the Bride and Groom were technically already married (Peter is in the Air Force and they got married before he deployed on an assignment back in February). But it was still full of all of the traditions that go along with a wedding day. And I was so excited to be there to experience it!
Venue: Alta Lodge Catering: Alta Lodge Cake: Cakes de Fleur Flowers: Flower PatchBahahahahaha – I love it when people can have a good time in front of the camera. It always makes for such fun photos.
Oh, how I just love this photo of the bride and her dad.
Then it was time for portraits.
The best man – doing his job.
Then it was time for dinner and toasts (toasts always include emotion).
After dinner, it was time for cake! (And I can just tell you that it was delicious too! I sneaked a piece of the red velvet and um, yes. DELICIOUS!)
I loved this photo that was part of the decorations – it’s from their actual wedding day, outside of the court building, official papers in hand, after they’ve just become husband and wife.
Father-daughter dances just kill me.
So, after the first dance and the parent dances the party REALLY started. I’ll just say that it was FUN!
And it was a late night (fun! but late).
Congratulations again, Michelle & Peter! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day!
