WHEN I FIRST STARTED CALLING MYSELF A PHOTOGRAPHER, I THOUGHT THAT I WANTED TO DO IT ALL (FAMILIES, BABIES, COMMERCIAL...) BUT WEDDINGS AND DOCUMENTING LOVE STORIES AS THEY UNFOLD IS WHERE MY HEART IS HAPPIEST.

2023 marks a decade AS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER AND I LOVE IT MORE WITH EVERY WEDDING THAT I'M PART OF. with that decade of experience, YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT THAT THE BIG EVENTS ARE BEING DOCUMENTED, AS WELL AS THOSE CANDID MOMENTS THAT BRING ALL OF THE EMOTIONS OF THE DAY RUSHING BACK.

Travel is now where i find so much inspiration and joy in shooting. Whether it is wedding weekends in France or family trips to the oregon coast, getting outside of what i see and experience every day helps keep me focused on why I do what I do (and why i love it so much).

MY FAVORITE PART OF MY JOB IS THE CONNECTION AND FRIENDSHIP THAT I BUILD WITH EACH OF MY COUPLES (this is why i include an engagement session for all of my couples). THE MORE COMFORTABLE WE ARE WITH EACH OTHER, THE EASIER IT IS TO CREATE THOSE BEAUTIFUL IMAGES YOU'VE BEEN DREAMING ABOUT.

THE VERY BEST COMPLIMENT I CAN RECEIVE FROM MY COUPLES IS THAT I AM THEIR "FOREVER PHOTOGRAPHER", AND AM ASKED AGAIN TO DOCUMENT THEIR NEXT MAJOR MILESTONES THROUGHOUT THE YEARS, AND AS THEIR FAMILIES GROW.

"My husband and I were so impressed with how she treated us during engagements, bridals and our wedding day; she never made us feel like she was rushing for time. She also did small things on our wedding day that weren't photography related but just shows how great of a person she is. It's the little things that let you know she cares.

Overall, I suggest Whitney to every bride I meet. She is the best of the best and we plan on using her for all our photos in life!"

"Whitney is seriously SUCH a joy to work with! I can’t say enough great things. For one, her sense of humor makes being on the other side of the camera both easy and fun! I have to be honest, at first I was worried that our first visit for engagement pictures may be a little awkward seeing as my husband and I are not used to being in front of the camera like that, much less with someone we had never met...but it totally wasn’t AT ALL! Whitney had us both laughing and having a good time right away!

On the day of the wedding she was so much more than just our photographer. She made sure everything went smoothly and as planned from making sure everyone was where they needed to be at the right time to even getting me a glass of champagne before toasts so my hands weren’t empty. Her photographs are beyond beautiful! If I got to do it all over, I would choose Whitney again in a heartbeat!"
