Ashley is my cousin’s daughter and absolutely the cutest girl with the cutest personality. Possibly ever. And her fiance Jared? He only proposed to her in front of both of their families after singing/playing at the piano (I know firsthand how cute it was, because it was posted on Facebook). After twisting Ashley’s arm to get her and Jared in front of my camera, we chose downtown Salt Lake City for their engagements photos. I love shooting pictures downtown and I need to get down their more often (so you’ll be booking with me soon, right?).
I had SO much fun spending the afternoon with these two lovebirds. They are hilarious!
Jared thinks Ashley is beautiful. And so do I.

We were pretty close to one of my most favorite restaurants in all of downtown Salt Lake City, Bruges Waffles & Frites, and I convinced them that eating some frites would make for good engagement pictures. Well, it turns out that I was wrong… being photographed while chewing doesn’t make for the cutest pictures…
But these guys are cute anyway.

This picture makes me want to yell out “Parkour!” and I think that Jared was actually saying it as they jumped.
I just love this picture, because it was a test shot for another pose that I wanted them to do – which, incidentally, did not work out at all. But, good heavens, aren’t they just so CUTE??
And they think I’m funny.
