I hope you’ll indulge me with the length of this blog post… there are a few reasons that I’m feeling especially sentimental about this wedding right now. The first is that the Salt Lake Temple is closing tomorrow for renovations and won’t open again until 2024 – and it really is my favorite temple. For weddings that I am part of and just in general. The grounds are so beautiful and always work for photographing a couple and their families. And the second is that I just found out this week that this wedding will be published in Utah Valley Bride’s upcoming Spring 2020 magazine!!
But OK, I shared L and J’s First Look at the Salt Lake Temple earlier this year. (Make sure you check it out HERE.) And now it’s time for their big day. You won’t believe the reception. It was the most perfect thing and planned/executed by the bride’s mother at their family home in Cottonwood Heights.

But then when your bridal party is too big, you move to another spot of the grounds.
Now it’s time for the reception. Prepare yourselves for a ton of detail photos because I JUST CAN’T HELP MYSELF!
This tent was a last minute addition… but we were all SO thankful that it was there when it started to POUR during dancing!I just can’t with this setup. The mix of the tables and chairs, the floral installations and incredible centerpieces. The mix of heights on the different tables. The textures. I LOVE IT ALL!
And while I didn’t get a dedicated picture of these incredible banners – they were absolutely my favorite part! I’ve never seen someone blow up my images in this way and it was so awesome to see them all lining the back of the tent!
The bride had a flash mob with her bridesmaids and it got the party STARTED.If you don’t recognize this face, this is former #whitneyhuntbride Emily. Who has been on my blog and website lots and lots and lots. (And I really love this picture of her… hahahahaha.)The party ended with SO MANY people jumping into the pool.THE BEST.
