Anna and Chase are getting married very very soon at the Blue Sky Ranch outside of Park City, Utah. April can be tricky with weather here in northern Utah, but luckily, this day for their First Look held out with sunshine – although a bit of wind. But they just helps with the romance of the moment, right? The Little Sahara Sand Dunes are the perfect place for a First Look and bridal session.
And yes, this location has been chosen back-to-back by two of my brides this year. It’s been a lot of fun to see the difference a couple days make with the light and the weather.
Little Sahara Sand Dunes First Look
It’s a drive from the Salt Lake valley to the sand dunes – about 2 hours for me, but I’m always so happy when I’m there. Not so much the going early and getting home late part though. Especially because there isn’t a Taco Bell for 1.5 hours. Haha. And this year I really love me a Baja Blast Mountain Dew after a shoot. It’s my treat of the moment. (Although nothing will every replace my love of a Mexican Coke – they just aren’t as easy to get your hands on. Especially in a drive-thru.) And I wonder why I can’t seem to lose any weight…
But the light at the Little Sahara Sand Dunes is always SO beautiful. The light gets so beautiful and pink as the sun sets and I love what it adds to a bridal session.
