Thanksgiving Point Engagement Session | Alexis + Ben

Thanksgiving Point has so many great locations for pictures, but my very favorite spot is The Loggia. It looks beautiful no matter what time of year you are there. It is basically perfect!

Speaking of perfect, let’s talk about Alexis and Ben. Because they are pretty much perfect together. And they should be, since they were high school sweethearts and have been dating for their entire dating lives.

Their Story (as told by Alexis)

“When we were in 9th grade we had a few classes together and became super good friends. At the end of the school year I put my number in his yearbook and we texted all summer and did stuff together with all of our friends. Texting every day and planning to do things together all the time, I totallyyy thought we were pretty much a couple by the time high school started. Turns out, he had no idea I even liked him! *facepalm* I’m not the greatest flirt, I guess! He had no idea until we were in a haunted house and he grabbed my hand and I “thankfully didn’t pull away!” Haha!

“We fell completely in love and dated alll through high school! Right after we graduated he left on his mission to Singapore/Malaysia and I waited the entire two LONG years for him! Before he left on his mission we carved our initials into a tree, and that’s where he proposed to me! He had cute pictures of us hanging up in the trees and flowers arranged in a heart on the ground. He also carved the day he proposed into the tree. Super sweet!”

You’ll notice a fun little extra in their pictures – all of the letters that they wrote to each other during Ben’s mission! I love that they have kept them and brought them along to their session! Little details like this help to make your session more about YOU.
