This fun spring editorial can also be seen on Utah Valley Bride and Hey Wedding Lady. Two publications for the same editorial? You know we did something right.
For this Spring Wedding Citrus Editorial, Rachael (of Rachael Ellen Events) was inspired by the combination of classic and modern. She wanted to take a classic venue and put a modern, artistic spin on it. Many brides can feel trapped with traditional ballroom venues or bare bones event spaces. When you add the correct emphasis on intentional detail, the space is just a canvas and the possibilities are endless. And Rachael shows such a beautiful example with this shoot!
This was Rachael and I’s first collaboration together back in March of 2019 (I’m finally writing this blog post in March of 2020). Since then we’ve worked on shoots together 2 more times. You can see our All White Wedding, and I am currently working on editing our most recent work from earlier this month in Deer Valley. Get excited for that.
The Thomas S Monson Center is a newer wedding venue in downtown Salt Lake City and it really has become one of my favorite places to photograph. The classic white makes such a beautiful and timeless backdrop. It feels “almost” European with the columns. (Heavy emphasis on ALMOST.)
I can’t say enough good things about this batch of amazing Utah wedding vendors. Maybe I should be saying The Best Wedding Vendors in Utah for SEO purposes. But it really is true… see for yourself with this lineup.
