Fall Sod Farm Wedding in Erda Utah | Victoria + Paul

The first important thing that I need to tell you about about this wedding is that it will soon be featured in the upcoming 2021 Utah Valley Bride magazine. Second important thing that I need to tell you about this sod farm wedding is that it was absolutely incredible.

UPDATED DECEMBER 2021: I forgot to link to the post shared by Utah Valley Bride! You can see the highlight of their wedding right HERE. Or you can pick up a copy of the 2021 UVB magazine and see it in print.

2020 wasn’t kind to the wedding industry. And I won’t deny that I struggled. Victoria Paul’s wedding was something that I hung on to, to get me through lull and lack of weddings during the summer.

Have you seen their downtown engagement session? Be sure to check that out HERE. And don’t forget their awesome mountain first look HERE.

I never would’ve thought of a sod farm as a location for a wedding. But now I think everyone should do it! COVID restrictions made wedding planning a gamble – we didn’t know how many people we could have, and what the requirements would be come the actual month of the wedding. The great thing about this location was that it wasn’t a formal wedding venue, so we didn’t have to worry about restrictions and guidelines. Private properties are fun like that. Everything was held outdoors and it felt as close to normal test 2020 could give us.

Plus can we talk about this wedding dress? It was so unique and it fit Victoria’s personality absolutely perfectly. The perfect mix boho and glam. Her makeup was understated and her long hair was pulled up into a “tousled” bun. I’m not obsessed with her or anything…

Also, was trying not to be distracted by that awesome tub…

Not to be outdone by his bride, Paul looked dapper and handsome in his charcoal gray suit. Sometimes grooms don’t get enough attention on the wedding day. But I know they put in just as much time into their look as the bride does. So I always try to capture their details the same way I would a brides’. Paul didn’t disappoint. The shoes, sunglasses, the perfect fall colored tie.

So let’s quit talking about it and get to these pictures, shall we?
