Oquirrh Mountain Temple Wedding | Curtis & Erin

You may remember these two from their engagement session. But if you don’t want to click that little link, I’ll tell you again that Curtis is my cousin. And I really just love him and Erin. Their puppy love is totally adorable (and they love to tell each other that the other is adorable and it makes me happy). They got married at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and this was my first time photographing a wedding there. I was so excited because 1) it is 1.5 miles from my home and 2) I would get to attend their ceremony as a guest AND be there photographer.

It was a BRIGHT, HOT summer day, but I honestly don’t think they even noticed as we took their pictures together (meanwhile, I was melting in the full sun).

The reception moved to Aspen Landing in Taylorsville. With a sparkler exit (THIS is the way to do a sparkler exit! When it is still light outside! Right as the sun goes down. It was perfect!).
