Salt Lake Capitol Engagement Session | Mika & John

Oh Mika and John! One of the most adorable couples I’ve been able to photograph! John proposed to Mika just down the hill from the Salt Lake Capitol, in Memory Grove. So the area was very familiar and special to them, and I love when my couples choose the location for their engagement session. It adds just a little something extra to their pictures.

I can not wait to share with you Mika’s bridals (back at the Capitol again), and their beautiful wedding that I just shot this last weekend. (Oooh boy! I’m getting so behind on blogging my sessions! This engagement session was back in the beginning of May!) Also, hi! What happened to the summer?! I can’t believe it is over already! This was my first “busy” wedding season and I can’t believe how much of a blur it all is now. But I loved it! I’ve been able to be a part of so many beautiful weddings and have made so many great new friends with my couples, which is the best perk of all.
