Tibble Fork Maternity Session

One of my very favorite things of being a wedding photographer actually comes after the wedding. Maybe it’s a year after or 4 years or even more… but when my brides become moms it is the BEST THING! I love being part of documenting their growing families.

Reggie and Juan might be familiar – you’ve seen them on the blog before and you can refresh your memory of their absolutely gorgeous First Look right HERE. Now they are expecting a baby boy in November and I am so, so, so excited for them to become parents!

I also was SUPER happy that they chose Tibble Fork as the location for their maternity session. American Fork Canyon is one of my favorite places to be in the month of September. It has some of the most gorgeous views.

Like, seriously Reggie??

Have you been to Tibble Fork Reservoir? Because this special spot is actually higher above the lake and it really is perfect.

I love the views of Mt Timpanogos and the surrounding mountains, along with all of the pine trees. Juan was cracking me up because he kept saying, “I hiked that” whenever he could see Timp in the background.

I also very much love simple bump shots like this.

I could also talk about how much I love the light in the mountains at this time of year. All golden and happy.

Don’t you just love the way he looks at her??

Because, I would obviously be looking at her the same way. Reggie is one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing.

Something about a couple snuggling together with a bump in between them makes me all sorts of happy. I absolutely love photographing maternity sessions.

Baby Boy is coming soon and I am so excited to be able to be part of the next chapter of Reggie and Juan’s life together. I cannot wait to meet their little guy and be able to take his pictures too.
