Here is the engagement session that I had promised you about a month ago. I was hoping to get it submitted, but I don’t want to wait anymore (and waiting for wedding blogs to get back to about is a LONG process)! This beautiful shoot happened on one of the very few sunny days that happen in March in Utah. We met downtown, near Temple Square and used the Conference Center as the backdrop for these styled engagement pictures. I had a bouquet made for the occasion, because if you know anything about early spring in Salt Lake City, you know that it is all brown and gray and very blah. But OH THIS BOUQUET!!! So bright and happy and so very Spring. I loved everything about it! And I especially loved that it came home with me and made my kitchen smell so wonderful for the next 4 days.
Now, just to clarify, these two are NOT engaged. They are, to use Adam’s words “happily dating”. And they are absolutely adorable together. And I have a LOT of pictures to share with you. I’m just warning you now.
I loved the glasses that they brought with them. So I made them pose like “hipsters”. For a half a second.
I call this one “the smoulder”.
Don’t you just love that bouquet? I think it might be a requirement for all of my upcoming brides to have a bouquet for their engagement pictures.
