The spring this year (2019) has been so different than what everyone else in the state (and in the West) has experienced. Cold weather, TONS of rain in months that normally aren’t as rainy, lots of wind, cold weather, cold weather, cold weather. The week leading up to Emily and Cam’s engagement session – and even the day of – were pretty dicey. But we decided to embrace it.
I am SO glad that we did! Their session has a wildness about it that I love so much – the wind with her hair and dress were just so much fun.
Emily and Cam met online, and while it may have taken Emily a little longer than normal to agree to a date, once they met there was no looking back. Cam was even supposed to be moving to California, but made different plans after meeting Emily.
How He Asked
Cam tricked Emily into believing that he didn’t have a ring and had Emily’s mom call her in a panic saying that her car broke down. But he then popped the question when she arrived to rescue her mom at a cute little park (complete with Whisper Dome). He surprised her with her entire family including her brother and family, that live out of town.
This picture of Cam waving at me just makes me laugh.Sometimes it rains for about 2 minutes so you pull out the umbrella to protect your fiancé’s hair.Oh Emily!
