Utah Mountain Maternity Session

I feel like I’m writing about celebrities – and I mean, it’s not a lie. Kateka and Stu have become social media famous and are part of a Facebook Watch series called “9 Months with Courteney Cox“. They also have a YouTube channel and multiple accounts on Instagram.

But I’ve known Kateka since high school. She was a year older than me and we became good friends my junior year of high school (her senior year) when we were both in choir together and also had the same seminary class together. Since then we’ve keep in regular contact – through the years when “everyone” had a Blogspot personal blog, then when Facebook started and Instagram…

Kateka and Stu were also one of the very first couples I ever photographed – back when I was learning how to use my camera. I wonder if I did a post of their session back in 2012? I’ll look… nope. It’s doesn’t like I did. Haha. But I did find my old Blogspot blog and I did share one picture of them together! Bahahahahahaha. Blogspot. Oh those things are gold.

OK, well anyway, I’ve known Kateka for a long time. And I’ve photographed her and Stu together before. But now it is time to stop talking about that and get to the actual pictures. Right??

Oh, did I forget to mention that Kateka is one of the prettiest people that I know in real life? I’m not obsessed with her or anything…

OK, fine I’ll stop. But I really just love them. And I love, love, LOVE photographing growing baby bumps!
