It was here, Brianna and Logan’s big day was finally here. And let me tell you right now, the crazy Spring weather held out! (I’m pretty sure a heavy tribute was paid to the rain gods – but seriously, what is going on with the weather lately in Utah?! As I’m writing this – in January – there hasn’t been much by why of snow around here and it’s been freaking me out).
They exited the Salt Lake City Temple and looked so happy! I love seeing the faces of the sweet newlyweds. They walked the grounds together and they had a great group of friends and family supporting them and cheering them on.
I asked Brianna when we met up for their previous sessions (oh! You saw those, right? Because if not, you should go see their engagement session and bridal session. Right now.) what she hoped her wedding day would be like and she told me, “The wedding is all centered around celebration and family and happiness! We want lots of greenery and we’ll have the outdoor reception. Most of the wedding will be simple and I really want to focus on our family and everyone enjoying themselves. I want to have a blast myseft! I want everyone on our dance floor and lots of cheers as we light sparklers to send us off.”
And now, looking at how it all came together, I know she got exactly what she dreamed of! Brianna and Logan welcomed their friends and family in her parent’s backyard for their reception. They laughed and celebrated with them… even as they ran away from them (as fast as they could) at the end of the evening. (Ha ha!)
Congratulations Mr & Mrs West! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your big day.
