Kate and Sam were married in 2016 (and you can see there Alta Lodge Wedding right HERE – and their Little Cottonwood Canyon engagement session right HERE). Baby Quinn came in 2018 and I got to do a newborn session at their home. This last fall it was time for official family photos with the beautiful fall colors. Plus Ollie. Fall family photos for the win!
I am always so happy and grateful when my former brides ask me for family pictures. I love being part of my brides milestones and hope to be their lifetime long photographer! There is no higher compliment than to be asked to take someones pictures again (and again). To all of my #whitneyhuntbrides: I love you! Thank you so much for letting me be in your lives for more than just your wedding day!
So get ready. Fall in the Utah mountains is SO DANG BEAUTIFUL! And the views of Neffs Canyon are perfect… without a long drive or a big hike. It really is my favorite location for fall family sessions. Plus Neff’s is dog friendly which was our biggest factor with Ollie involved. There aren’t many mountain views along the Wasatch Front that allow dogs. But with it being open for dogs can lead to attention problems. I always warn my couples and families that are including their furry friends that it is busy with hikers and other dogs WILL be around. But as long as we all know going in, it always works out great. I haven’t had any problems in the last 4 years that I’ve been going there.
