Oh, do you remember their amazing formal session in Albion Basin?? And now it was finally time for their big day! An overcast day in early October at Highland Gardens in American Fork. The boys gathered in one room to play video games before they got ready for the ceremony, while the girls all got their hair done at Pro Do blow dry bar.
The bride and groom each read letters from each other before the ceremony. It was emotional. The bride had these fabulous sweatshirts made. Their number is the number of years that the bride has known them. And the hoods said “bridesmaid” or “maid of honor” or “mother of the bride”. The bride’s said “Future Mrs. Christensen”. They were awesome! The bride had her makeup done. And would get really freaked out whenever anything came near her eye. I was laughing so hard! She wore a beautiful Maggie Sottero gown from Bridal Closet. The cute flower girl forgot to drop the flower petals, so her mom showed her how it was done. Look at those smiles! Amanda’s reaction to hearing that they were official husband and wife was too perfect! WOOOO!!!Oh, those sweet, tender moments after the ceremony. Geeks to the core. And I loved it. I swear, Amanda and I share the same spirit animals. We just GET each other. And look at how she can be so FIERCE for the camera a split second late! Amanda surprised Brandon with the geekiest gamer groom’s cake ever. His reaction was priceless. And his fellow geeks couldn’t get enough of it either. Have some cake. A bubble send off (the flash really catches those bubbles! Ha!). Sending off the Bride & Groom in style. Surrounded by loved one.
