This Walker Farms wedding editorial was planned in January – when the cold Utah winter seems like it will NEVER END… and Kate and I were thinking about what we wanted for the spring. What gets us excited about Spring in general, and spring weddings specifically.

Walker Farms is relatively new wedding venue in Lindon Utah. And it is BEAUTIFUL. The light inside is so pretty and even, no matter what is going on outside. Plus who doesn’t love an all white barn for a wedding?

Good Flowers Take It From Blah to AHHHHHHHHHHH

Please love the colors happening here. The soft pink with the buttery yellows. The perfect creams with the greenery that signals spring coming again. I love it all so very much thanks to Kathryn of Heritage Flower Co. I especially love the centerpiece for the table and how it all connected together – plus the moss! So good.

The Perfect Wedding Dress

And then let’s talk about that incredible wedding dress from The Perfect Dress Bridal. Isn’t it so gorgeous? The boning detail. The layers of tulle. The detachable sleeves with the perfect amount of puff. I can’t get enough of it. And Rebekah wore it only too well (which, you know, means that it was absolutely perfect on her). But also, Marisa Rose did a phenomenal job with the hair and makeup. Just highlighting Rebekah’s natural beauty and “polishing” it, if you know what I mean. Nothing over the top or too heavy. It felt fresh and bright – just like spring!

Let Me Eat Wedding Cake

But wait! I can’t forget to talk about the cake! Carisa is one of the most talented bakers I know (and here’s an extra side bit for you – she runs a “cake truck” on weddings in the warms months – I’ve only heard a million good things about the Mrs Jenkins, and I can vouch for the incredible chocolate chip cookies that are the size of my face). This cake and it’s perfect sugar flowers – can you even handle it?
