Park City Utah Engagement Session

Prepare yourself – I got to test out a new location in Park City for this engagement session and I was SO excited for this! The views of the mountains up here was absolutely perfect – even if it we did have some smoke in the sky from those crazy fires happening in California and Oregon this summer. But the pink tint just added to the magic of the spot. (Where is this spot? Just a little farther above one of my FAVORITE wedding venues in all of Park City Utah: The Montage Deer Valley.)

Let me introduce you to Ashlee and Taylor. An American girl and an Aussie bloke – brought together in such a fun way. Can I tell you their story before I show you their amazing Park City Utah Engagement session?

HOW THEY MET

As a surprise birthday present for Ashlee, her roommate Sarah decided to book a vacation to Australia. While preparing for their trip, Ashlee thought she would look on dating sites for a “tour guide” for them and their upcoming trip. In February of 2019, Taylor and Ashlee matched online and it as luck would have it, it was an instant connection. They continued to develop a relationship remotely over the next couple of months. In May of 2019, Taylor came to America for a band tour and he decided to make a detour to Utah to meet Ashlee in person. It went pretty well. 🙂

In June of 2019, Ashlee and Sarah embarked on their trip down under to the beautiful country of Australia. Where in Ashlee’s words “Taylor became the BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER.” During Ashlee’s stay in Australia, Taylor and Ashlee shared those three special words: I love you. In August of 2019, Taylor flew to America to surprise Ashlee at her Grandfather’s 80th birthday party. During the months of August through December they continued to have a long distance relationship. Ashlee tells me that this was the WORST! In December of 2019, Taylor came to Utah for a white Christmas and ended up staying due to the Corona virus pandemic.

When Taylor and Ashlee decided to get married, they worked straight away on the immigration process. The immigration process is already long and hard. Then add a pandemic! But never fear, their is a happily ever to come in their story all too soon.
